OPIc Test for 6th Graders

(Dec.28)

Kyonggi 6th graders are scheduled to take the OPIc test on the 28th of December, 2023. Good luck and below is the information and some tips!

About OPIc Test

The Oral Proficiency Interview-computer (OPIc) is a valid and reliable means of assessing how well a person speaks a language. Before beginning the OPIc, test takers complete a Background Survey and a Self Assessment. They also receive a full overview and explanation of OPIc procedures, including a sample test question in the test taker’s native language.

Tips!

  • Click the ‘play’ button twice to earn some extra time for your response.
  • Try to sound natural. Use fillers in between your response
Ummm,I think… / Well, you know.. / Let me think.. / If I remember correctly / Yeah, stuff like that
  • If you have no clue what to say, tell Ava the following in order not to get any penalty points, such as…
I’m sorry, Ava but I think I should skip this question because I don’t know what to say…
I mean I have no idea about that issue, so I’ll try and answer your next question.
