Singapore Sparks Smiles

From March 31 to April 4, our sixth graders spent five unforgettable days in Singapore. Highlights of a cosmopolitan itinerary included a trip to Universal Studios, a visit to the iconic Merlion Park, and an afternoon enjoying breathtaking views atop the Singapore Flyer. Thanks to their time abroad, the students now prepare for graduation with a broader perspective on the world and a stronger sense of connection with one another.
First Foot Forward

Our first graders rose early on Saturday, April 26, to celebrate our school’s sixtieth anniversary and receive an official Kyonggi welcome at the Parade of Love. After inspiring words from our principal, the students enjoyed a variety of outdoor games and activities under a bright spring sun. Energized, the first graders then completed the Ansan Trail at an impressive pace, cheered on and accompanied by their parents and teachers.
Picture Perfect Presentations

On May 20, our third graders welcomed their families to their annual Open Class. Leading up to the event, students prepared with teachers, rehearsing presentations and sharpening their vocabulary. The centerpiece was “My Favorite Picture Pose,” a presentation where each student shared a cherished photo of themselves. Both parents and teachers were impressed by the students’ confidence and clarity, making the day a great success!
Students’ Spending Spree

On May 23, students gathered their savings to make the most of the annual Juniper Bazaar. Made possible by the generosity and dedication of Kyonggi parents, students splurged on tasty treats and terrific toys. Bigger-ticket items available ranged from Kyonggi-branded pencil cases to swimming robes. Teachers were delighted to see all grades enjoying a well-deserved break from their studies and welcomed the opportunity to connect with students’ parents.
