Ume Group 1 Beginning of Earth

  • Cast of Characters:

  • Beginning: In the street

This story begins in Jimin City, a dystopian place on a chaotic planet that is in desperate need of balance. A group of friends is walking home when something happens that would change their lives forever. Unexpected lightning strikes, leaving each student with the power to control one of the four elements, water, fire, earth, air. They all used to live together in harmony, but everything changes when Water loses her memory. She pushes everyone away in an angry rage, causing instability on the planet. 

  • Middle: Breaking News

Thirty years have passed since the mysterious thunderstorm and Jimin City is facing its second great disaster, a tsunami. Because of Water’s rage and unsettled spirit, she is acting out in vengeance against the planet’s inhabitants. The rest of the team excitedly combine their powers and set off in search of their friend. They have to take immediate action if they want to save the planet as well as their friend, Water.

  • End: Back street’s back

The Elements find Water back in the street where they met long ago and first got their powers. Flame and his opposing element, Water, battle. It was Soil however who clears Water’s mind with the stability of soil’s grounding abilities. Wind wakes Water with a friendly breeze and the elements are all in balance once more. As a result they combine to create balance in the world and the wonderful planet called earth comes to be.

Ume Group 2 The Jokes

  • Cast of Characters:

  • Beginning: At the castle

In a far off kingdom, a witty dragon has been looting the kingdom for a long time. The Queen commandeers her most trusted knight and magical cat to venture off to save the kingdom. 

  • Middle: Magical Forest

As they make their way through the magical forest towards the Dragon’s cave, the Knight imagines that he hears the cat speaking. After eating the fruit it gave him, he realizes in surprise that he has not been mistaken! Jokes would be the Dragon’s method of attack according to the cat. The knight proclaims that he is an excellent joker. Despite this, the Cat also advises the Knight to drink a magical-mind-power-potion, but in his pride and foolishness he does not. Instead he drops it on the cat and the cat disappears, just to be replaced by the Queen.

  • End: Dragon’s Cave

The Dragon seems to have been expecting their arrival, ready to dazzle them with the funniest jokes. But try as he might, his jokes just don’t cut it. To everyone’s surprise the Knight’s secret joke is so funny that the Dragon could not stop laughing. It laughs so much that it ends up falling into a pit of lava. The kingdom is saved and the Queen’s riches have been multiplied triplefold!

Ume Group 3 Octopus Girl

  • Cast of Characters:

  • Beginning :

Once upon a time, there was a very rich young lady who lived in a castle. After she finished eating the world’s most expensive octopus for lunch, she suddenly felt strong and started to fly away. While flying away, she bumped into an electric pole and found a wanted poster of the criminal. She decided to catch the criminal to get the reward money.

  • Middle :

A group of thieves decided to rob Jenny bank, the bank with the most money. However, a lady overheard their plan and suddenly attacked them to stop them in their tracks. Even though she was a young and small lady, she could defeat all of them, using the superpower she got from eating the strange octopus.

  • End :

The lady took the robbers to the police station and got her reward money. The robbers had to stay in jail for 690 years. The rich lady, who was really generous, decided to donate all of her reward money to charity. They all lived happily ever after.

Ume Group 4 A Cloudy Person

  • Cast of Characters:

-Matthew(Villain) : Jang, HyukJae(Jeff)

Annemarie, an Albino, is bullied by her classmates because she looks different from others. One day, in art class, a terrible bully paints his picture all white, intending to insult her. He also asks her whether she has an allergy, referring to the color of her skin looking unnaturally pale. Tom misunderstood and asked his friend, Lily the same question, but with good intentions. This hurts Annemarie’ feelings and she storms out of her classroom.

  • Middle : Lily and Tom follow Annemarie and try to explain that his intentions were pure. However, Matthew and his friends follow the group of friends and attempt to further insult them all. Annemarie, stands up for her friends. This causes Matthew great embarrassment, a feeling he doesn’t often experience.
  • End :

At home, Annemarie reflected upon the fact that she has a special place within the world. She is just like a white cloud within a blue sky. She fills the emptiness with beauty, she gives the nothingness meaning, she has purpose.

Ume Group 5 The Adventures of Spam Princess

The Princess of Spam World journeys to a new planet. What challenges will she face on Fishcake Planet?

Scene 1:

The Princess of Spam World’s curiosity leads her to press a mysterious and colorful spam-shaped button. She mistakenly flies to a new planet in a spaceship.

Scene 2:

The Spam Princess crash lands in a seafood market on Fishcake Planet. The Fishcake Prince is disgusted by the presence and smell of the Spam Princess, and kicks her. The Princess calls for help from Spam Man, who engages in a swordfight with the Prince. The Prince gains the upper hand by using his secret weapon, hot sauce, to defeat Spam Man. The Prince orders the Fishcake soldiers to arrest Spam Man and the Spam Princess.

Scene 3:

Spam Man and the Princess are locked in the Fishcake jail. The Fishcake Prince taunts them while a hungry Spam Princess pleads for food. After the Prince leaves, Spam Man offers to bribe the soldier guarding them with money if he lets them free. The Fishcake soldier agrees and opens the jail door. When he asks for his payment, Spam Man reveals he doesn’t have any money, and attacks the soldier with spam balls. An angry Princess and Spam Man decide to seek revenge against the Fishcake Prince, and think they will find him again at the seafood market.

Scene 4:

After finding the Fishcake Prince, Spam Man and the Princess defeat him with their powerful spam balls. They decide to fly back to Spam World where no one will judge them for being different.

Ume Group 6 Juwon the Hero

Two schoolgirls are assaulted by a dancing maniac. Can Juwon the Hero save the day?

  • Cast of Characters:

-Lucy  : Moon, SeoJeong(Lucy)

-Kate : Seo, YuRim(Kate)

-Juwon the Hero : Lee, JuWon(Juwon)

-Disco Spam Villain : Han, InHo(Inho)

Scene 1:

Lucy and Kate meet at school, and begin gossipping about recent events. They’ve both heard that a girl named Alice had been saved by Juwon the Hero. Just then, a dancing villain appears and attacks them with spam and eggs. Luckily, Juwon the Hero arrives to save the girls. The startled villain tries to escape.

Scene 2:

Outside, Juwon the Hero tries to catch the villain, but he is elusive. After a struggle Juwon the Hero finally arrests the villain. The girls celebrate, and Juwon tells them they can safely go back to class.

Scene 3:

In class, Kate is too busy daydreaming to pay attention. She tells Lucy she can’t stop thinking about Juwon the Hero. The girls realize they secretly wish for another villain to appear so Juwon the Hero will return.

Rose Group 1 Mind Over Matter

  • Beginning: The Castle

The story began with Princess Poinsettia, blissfully trampling around the castle, slowly losing her sanity. Her servant suspected her of being enspelled. The brave Prince Petit is summoned to venture off and find a healing magic potion.

  • Middle: Following the map

On the way the Prince encounters a Mind Control Monster. Although it tries to intimidate and trick the prince, he is too fast, and gets away unharmed. The Prince, exhausted from the long journey, decides to take a rest. Unbeknown to the prince, a Magic Monster tries putting a spell on him. Two wizards come to his aid, break the Monster’s wand and make their introductions. They concoct a magic potion the Prince then takes to cure the kooky Princess.

  • End: The castle

Princess Poinsettia’s servant aids the Prince in giving the Princess the potion. The reaction is immediate. She has been cured. To everyone’s surprise her true character is quite dominant and ironically, she proclaims that she will take over the world.

Rose Group 2 The Ball

  • Beginning: Baseball in the Park

A world famous baseball player is excited to be on the court once more. He plays one of his best games and hits the ball so hard that it flies off into space. A UFO spots the ball and mistakenly identifies it as a weapon of mass destruction.

  • Middle: Into Space

The Aliens are fascinated by their new “weapon”, whilst the Baseball Player ventures across the world in search of his lucky ball. As he gets closer to giving up, he gets sucked up by a beam and is teleported through space and time.

  • End: Into the Ship!

Onboard the ship the Baseball Player encounters the Aliens and explains the rules of baseball. They are all delighted and excited to play a game together.

Rose Group 3 Horror Village

Noel gets a mysterious phone call asking him to help save a haunted village. What kind of surprises will he find?

Scene 1:

While playing in his room, Noel gets a phone call from a stranger. It’s a boy named James, asking Noel to come save their village. Noel bravely accepts this request.

Scene 2:

In Horror Village, James leads Noel to a haunted house. Before going inside, Noel meets another villager, Ellia, who wants to join him. Noel, kind as he is, and glad for some company, accepts this request.

Scene 3:

Inside the haunted house, Noel, James, and Ellia are confronted by ghosts. Noel tries to catch them, but he fails. James reveals that he has a magic wand. Ellia tries to use it, but it fails to work. She realizes that Noel is the “chosen one”, the only one able to yield the wand. Noel, as humble as he is, is in disbelief.

Scene 4

The trio continue to explore the house. Ellia reveals she is the owner of the house, and Noel realizes Ellia is actually a ghost. Noel and James fight off Ellia and two other ghosts, and finally succeed.

Scene 5

Back outside in the village, just when the boys think they’re safe, Ellia appears behind Noel…

Rose Group 4 Harry Potter and the Missing Mentor

Hagrid is missing. Can Harry follow the clues and save his friend?

Scene 1:

At Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Harry Potter realizes he hasn’t seen Hagrid in a while. He decides to go to Hagrid’s house to make sure he is okay. Meanwhile, Harry’s nemesis, Malfoy, thinks Harry is acting suspicious and decides to follow him.

Scene 2:

Harry and Malfoy find that Hagrid’s house is a mess, and Hagrid is nowhere to be found. Harry finds a receipt from a shop on Nocturn Alley, so the boys decide to head there to find more information about Hagrid’s whereabouts.

Scene 3:

The shopkeeper reveals that Hagrid had bought some morning moss and was headed to the Forbidden Forest. Harry and Malfoy decide to go there to look for him.

Scene 4:

In the Forbidden Forest, it is revealed that the shopkeeper was really Voldemort in disguise, who he has lured the boys into a trap. Malfoy takes Voldemort’s side, but Harry casts a magic spell to make them boil like ramen noodles. The curse on Hagrid is lifted and they safely return home.

Rose Group 5 Jelly Alone

  • Cast of Characters:

-A Candy shop owner(Hero) : Cho, HaNee(Hanee)

-A thief(Villain) : Kwon, HyukJun(Nolan)

-A thief(Villain) : Lee, SeoHo(Eddy)

  • Beginning :

A small candy shop had very few customers and couldn’t earn enough money. But a regular customer donated money to the shop and the shop owner bought a lottery ticket with it. Luckily she won the lottery. The shop owner decided to use that money to hire a part timer to work for her. From three applicants, Eddy, Noland and Elena, the shop owner decided to hire Elena.

  • Middle :

The shop owner found out that the customer who donated money was a famous singer, called Bruna Mars. Bruna Mars told the shop owner that she could not give more money because she was planning to move to Africa. So the shop owner decided to make that part timer work longer to earn more money. One day, a group of robbers came in to steal candy from the shop. The part timer was the only employee working at the time. They threatened the part timer and she decided to call the shop owner. The shop owner came in and called the police.

  • End :

While they were waiting for the police to come, the regular customer, Bruna Mars, suddenly came into the shop and the robbers saw her. They were great fans and asked her for her signature. Bruna Mars told them that she would give it to them on one condition, they would have to confess to everything they had done. They agreed with the terms straight away and happily followed her to the police station.

Orchid Group 1 Earth Attack

  • Cast of Characters:

-A warrior from the Earth(Hero) : Hwang, EuGenie(Eugenie)

-A warrior from the Earth(Hero) : Kim, YeNa(Yena)

  • Beginning  :

One day, aliens from Jupiter planned to invade the Earth and control people. Heroes noticed their plan because they saw a UFO landing. After landing on Earth, the aliens decided to be  generous and give humans three days to prepare for the fight.

  • Middle :

On the following night, one hero came into the alien’s spaceship and found out their secret weapon is a laser beam and read the warning sign that the beam is easily reflected. So they decided to use the mirror to reflect the laser beam when they fight. On the day of fighting, they used a mirror as planned, making the aliens embarrassed. However, the aliens had another weapon, the control stick, to control human minds.

  • End :

Heroes realized that they needed more people to fight together, so asked others to join them. They found banana swords to defend themselves, so aliens cannot read their minds. As a result, the aliens got scared of the people and their new weapons and went back to Jupiter.

Orchid Group 2 A Meteor

-A scientist from 2075(Hero) : Cho, SuA(Emma)

  • Beginning :

On one sunny day in 2075, a group of scientists found a meteor coming down. To save Earth, they decided to use a time machine to go back to the past and stop the meteor.

  • Middle :

Using the time machine, they went back to 2024 and found another scientist who made the meteor to attack Earth. They tried to stop the evil scientist, but she already finished making the meteor and pressed the button to send it to Earth. They decided to make a big spaceship to move all people from Earth to Mars. Then suddenly, an anonymous person came to help the good scientists. Together they, including the evil scientist, made the spaceship and went back to 2075 again.

  • End :

They moved all the people into the spaceship and headed to Mars together. When they arrived on Mars, they found the anonymous helper was actually the king of Mars and he had built homes for every person from Earth to live.

Orchid Group 3 Gamer Rivals

The rivalry between two top eSports players spills into real life. Kidnappings, bank robberies, jailbreaks… Who will come out on top?

  • Cast of Characters:

Scene 1:

Jayden and Andy are playing PubG, a competitive online video game. Jayden’s victory makes him the number 1 player in the world. Just then, Agnes shows up and kidnaps Andy. Jayden’s biggest PubG rival, Mia, enters to explain that she has kidnapped Andy and is holding him for ransom.

Scene 2:

Needing the money to pay the ransom, Jayden attempts to rob a bank. But Mia is two steps ahead of him. She knew Jayden would have to rob the bank to get the ransom money, and had informed the police ahead of time.

Scene 3:

A dejected Jayden laments his fate from his jail cell. Just then, Andy appears. He was able to escape Mia’s house while everyone else was at the bank. Andy has stolen the key to the jail cell and helps Jayden escape.

Scene 4:

With Jayden in jail, Mia is trying to pass Jayden in the PubG rankings. Jayden and Andy arrive at Mia’s house, where Jayden challenges her to a match of PubG. The loser will have to retire from the game forever.

Orchid Group 4 Alien Invasion

An evil alien is trying to conquer Earth. Will anyone be able to stop him?

  • Cast of Characters:

-News Anchor : Jung, HoeYoung(Lucas)

-Princess : Woo, DaHye(Isabel)

-Bella : Lee, YeWon(Bella)

  • Beginning

An alien decides to invade and conquer Earth. According to news reports, even the military is no match for the alien’s technology. It even invades a school.

  • Middle

The alien attacks the Princess of Earth, hoping to steal her throne. The princess’s trusty servant, Bella, goes with a wizard to his laboratory to obtain a special potion to defeat the alien. When she returns to the throne room, the alien tries to flee.

  • End

Bella and the princess chase the alien into the forest, where they finally catch it. They use the potion to turn the alien into a liquid, and trap it in a bottle. The news reports that Earth is safe once again.

Orchid Group 5 Last Night in the Fridge

  • Cast of Characters:

-Rice(Companion) : Kwon, JiYu(Nora)

-Kim(Mentor) : Ahn, ChaeWon(Alice)

-Spam(Hero) : Park, SeungGyun(William)

-Spinach(Mentor): Kim, DanHa(Danny)

  • Beginning: In the Fridge

All the ingredients in the fridge are having a good time until they realize that they will be eaten by their master who is craving kimbap for lunch. Ham is determined to find a solution and springs into action.

  • Middle: Mold

While Ham is brewing up a storm, spinach is lamenting on the hardships of life, explaining how food in the fridge is constantly challenged to outlive mold attacks, possible human consumption, and rapid aging. Little known to the rest of the nutritious kimbap ingredients, Ham breaks into a convenience store and steals a ready made triangle kimbap. He returns to the fridge in a flash.

  • End: Back in the Fridge

All the characters run around frantically as the master reaches into the fridge to snatch up the ingredients needed to make delicious kimbap. Just as they lose all hope, Ham returns and shoves the triangle kimbap into the master’s hand. They are saved! They celebrate by dancing the night away.

Orchid Group 6 Planet Lost

  • Cast of Characters:

-Alice(Mentor) : Ahn, ChaeWon(Alice)

-Alien(Villain) : Shin, SuHyeok(Sean)

-Giselle(Hero) : Son, JiWoo(Giselle)

  • Beginning : All over

Knowledgeable aliens consult Naver to find that the planet they are fascinated with is called Earth. They land in a self proclaimed hero and mentor’s house where they are discovered and confronted.

  • Middle : In the Hero’s house

A fight breaks out between the aliens and the humans. Who will prevail?… Neither of the two teams! Food is the conqueror of all. Hunger struck and the destruction was brought to a halt. Since earthly food had to be eaten, pizza was on the menu. Our hero and mentor came up with the brilliant plan to contaminate the food with a sleeping potion. Would their plan succeed?

  • End : In Space

The aliens fell into a deep slumber, they slept well, and woke up refreshed with renewed energy. It turns out that sleeping pills gave these aliens more power. In their rage they decided to destroy Earth…

Peony Group 1 Zombie Attack

  • Cast of Characters:

-A student who made the potion(Hero) : Choi, EunYu(Summer)

-A student in the homeroom(Trickster) : Park, SiYul(Joshua)

-A zombie(Shapeshifter) : Yang, JeHa(Chris)

-A zombie(Shapeshifter) : Jeong, SeYeong(Seyeong)

  • Beginning :

The teacher announced that they have to make a magic potion for homework by tomorrow. Seyeong and Summer, who are on the same team together, made a potion and tested it. Seyeong tried to drink the potion to check, then suddenly turned into a zombie. Summer, being shocked, ran away from her.

  • Middle :

Chris, who was just walking in the hallway, came across Seyeong and turned into a zombie too. And together, they headed to the classroom. In the classroom, Joshua was eating a doughnut, waiting for everyone.  Zombies found him and tried to change him into a zombie.

  • End :

Summer was making an antidote to change the zombies back into humans. She came into the classroom and spayed the antidote on the zombies. After everyone turned back into humans again, they decided to keep this dangerous potion in the secret room. However, Chris drank the potion since he confused the potion with the juice. He turned into a zombie and all things began again.

Peony Group 2 Pizza Nightmare

  • Cast of Characters:

-A Pizza shop Owner(Ally) : Chun, SeAh(Emily)

-A Robber(Villain) : Lee, YoungWoo(Youngwoo)

-A police officer(Hero) : Choi, SeungWoo(Kevin)

-A Pizza man(Mentor) : Joo, SeoYoon(SeoYoon)

Emily, who owns a pizza shop, was counting the money she earned on the day. Then a robber saw her money and decided to steal all of it. However, Emily saw him secretly trying to steal all of her money so she was kidnapped by the robber. Pizzaman saw what was happening in the pizza shop and called the police. A police officer arrived at the crime scene and found footprints of the criminal.

  • Middle :

They followed the footprints to track the criminal and guessed that he headed to the rooftop using super powers to move everything. When they arrived on the rooftop, they saw Emily and the robber together. Police warned the robber to set her free and give her money back, but the robber refused and suddenly evaporated using his super power.

  • End :

The police decide to check the CCTV and make a wanted poster to find the robber. One day, they got an anonymous call that she saw the robber in Incheon and would call the police. They hurried to Incheon and found the robber staying in jail. The robber tried to evaporate again but forgot to take the money. As a result, Emily got the money back and they all lived happily ever after.

  • Beginning : Far Far Away

In the far off kingdom of Canada, all is not well! Manderella always had to do her stepmother’s bidding. Exhausted and tired of cleaning, she sat down one day when her stepmother asked her to travel to Korea for special Korean Fried Chicken.

Unfortunately she only received 10,000 Won to complete the task, which meant that she had to walk and swim most of the way. On the way there she met a magical flying chicken who took pity on her and carried her away on its back.

  • Middle : In Korea

Having arrived in Korea, Manderella was dumbfounded by all the delicious delicacies. She foolishly spent all her money on an expensive green tea. Poor and without a plan, she wandered around an EFC (Eugene’s Fried Chicken) hoping that inspiration would strike.

Since she was the chef’s first customer, he took pity on her and they ended up frying the magical chicken who didn’t mind the pleasant heat of the boiling oil.

  • End : Back Home

After an onerous journey back home, Manderella realized that she had forgotten the chicken in Korea. Luckily the chef, realizing her mistake, had followed her back home. The chicken ended up being so delicious that the chef was ordered to cook more!

Peony Group 4 The Silent Helpers of Harry Potter

  • Beginning : In the hallway

A secret club called “The Silent Helpers” went to school with the famous wizard, Harry Potter. He never knew that they existed, but they did everything in their power to aid him in his quests. This time Henry realized that Harry’s invisibility cloak had been stolen. Sophia recalls a memory from something she had seen earlier that day. That might have been the key to unlocking the mystery and finding the cloak before Harry got back.

  • Middle : In the common room

In Sophia’s memory, T, Malfoy’s greatest fan, transformed into Harry by drinking Polyjuice potion. Henry unsuspectingly led her right to Harry’s bedroom, and the cloak, thinking he was aiding a friend. Being invisible, T could let go of her fears and be herself. She returned to her own common room.

  • End : back in the hallway

We return to where the group was huddled together and it just so happened that they ran into T, just about to use the cloak in the hallway. Eric shared his plan to get back the cloak and they set it in action. After a battle breaks out, the Silent Helpers strike again. They outsmart T and return the cloak before Harry was even aware it was gone.

Peony Group 5 What the Doctor Ordered

Everyone in the park starts dying suddenly. Can Luna and friends find out who is responsible?

  • Cast of Characters:

-Dr. Psycho : Lyu, SungYoon(Paul)

-Spy : Kim, YuChan(Tim)

-Yoojung : Yang, YooJung(Yoojung)

Beginning:

Luna and her father are walking in the park on a lovely day when suddenly he collapses and dies. Screams can be heard all around the park, as others face the same fate as Luna’s father. Luna makes her way through the park and runs into her friend, Yoojung. Meanwhile, in an unknown location, Dr. Psycho laughs about the virus he has unleashed on the world.

Middle:

Luna and Yoojung encounter a spy who once worked for Dr. Psycho. He convinces them to help him kill the old madman responsible for the virus that has killed millions of people. The trio traverse a cave to get to Dr. Psycho’s underground laboratory.

End:

Luna, Yoojung, and the spy confront Dr. Psycho in his underground laboratory. He is pleased that new test subjects have delivered themselves to him, as he reveals he has just finished a new version of the virus. He throws the virus at Luna, but Yoojung jumps in front, sacrificing herself. Luna is able to infect Dr. Psycho with the virus, after which he reveals there is a vaccine. Luna refuses to give the vaccine to Dr. Psycho. She and the spy take it to share with the world, leaving Dr. Psycho to die in his lab.

Peony Group 6 June: Magical Hero

A demon named Cillian destroys an innocent village. The villagers call out to the magical hero, June, to avenge them. Will he succeed?

  • Cast of Characters:

-Cillian  : Woo, DaHyeon(Cindy)

-Villager : Park, GeeYu(Geeyu)

-June : Kim, YeonJune(June)

-Andy : Kim, MooBin(Anthony)

  • Beginning:

A demon named Cillian destroys a village and plunders everything valuable from the villagers. The villagers call out to the magical hero, June, to help them. June is very angered by what Cillian has done, and agrees to avenge the villagers. His ally, Andy, will aid him on his journey.

  • Middle:

Back in her castle, Cilllian revels in all the goods she has plundered, but heard the villagers call out to June, and fears what he will do. She starts fortifying her castle with traps. Meanwhile, June and Andy approach Cillian’s castle. June gets caught in a trap, but luckily his ally, Andy,  has a healing potion.

  • End:

June confronts Cillian in her castle and defeats her. He and Andy take all the plundered goods back to the village, and the villagers ask June to help them rebuild what has been destroyed.
