Women’s Hanbok

Do you ever wear hanbok? Normally, hanbok has three elements: chima, jeogori, and daenggi or binyeo. I will explain each element.
First, chima is a kind of long skirt worn with hanbok. It’s as long as your legs. Chima can be many different colors. They can also have illustrations on the bottom. Normally the illustrations are a beautiful gold color.
Next, jeogori is a long shirt with long sleeves covering the arms. They can have many colors, but usually the sleeves have rainbow stripes on the arms. It is called “saekdong jeogori”. Jeogori is very cool because the fabric is breathable.
Lastly, daenggi is a kind of hair ribbon. It helps you to tie your hair in a braid. Women who haven’t married only wear a daenggi traditionally. On the other hand, binyeo is a long pin. We tie up the hair and put the binyeo inside the tied-up hair. It can have many colors, but usually, the royal family has a gold binyeo. Only married women or new brides wear binyeo.
Women’s hanbok has many different elements that make them unique and beautiful. Chima, jeogori, daenggi, and binyeo are all important parts that make up Korea’s traditional hanbok.
The Best Written Language in the World

I want to write about Hangeul; Korean written language. Hangeul is the best written language. I’ll explain why it’s amazing.
First, Hangeul has great quality. We can write down everything with Hangeul, even the sound of birds or water. Hangeul is also excellent to use with devices like smartphones or keyboards. Actually, it takes less time typing the same word in Hangeul than with the English alphabet or Chinese characters.
Next, Hangeul is very easy to learn. It takes less than one month to learn and use it actually. THat’s because Hangeul’s vowels look like the sky, the ground, and a person; and the consonants look like the shape of the mouth and throat. Also, some letters are quite similar to other ones. So, Korea has the fewest people that dont know how to use its written language.
Then, who made this amazing language? King Sejong made it. He originally named it Hunminjungmun. Because Hangeul is excellent, we have to love it and try to protect it. We must thank King Sejong for not using hard Chinese characters.
Because Hangeul is such an amazing language, we celebrate it every year with its own special holiday. Let’s all celebrate it together!

Do you know about Korean history? Today I will tell you about Hangeul, the first Korean water clock, and the national farming book, which were all made by King Sejong the Great.
The first Hangeul alphabet made was based on the shape of the mouth when we pronounce words. It has consonants and vowels. These letters evolved and became modern Korean.
Have you ever heard of the water clock? King Sejong invented this clock to show you the exact time using water. Also, we could see the clock anytime, unlike a sun clock.
The last invention is the national farming book. This book helped farmers a lot. The book tells you how to farm and what to eat when your crop fails.
Hangeul, the Korean water clock, and the national farming book are all great inventions from Korean history. Which Korean invention do you think was the best?
Korea’s Special Days

Have you ever enjoyed special days in Korea? We have lots of special days that are only in Korea. Also, we have lots of traditions and food to enjoy those special days.
First, I’ll introduce you to Seolnal. We have a special food in Korea; it’s ddeokkuk! Lots of Korean people believe that we get older only if we eat ddeokkuk on this day. It is really delicious and has eggs, fresh soup, etc. inside it. So, it is really good for our health too.
Second, during Chuseok, lots of Koreans pray for their ancestors. We call it cha-re. On this day, we all wake up early and make food for our ancestors. So, we all start that day happily because we think that we will meet our ancestors.
Third, on Dongji, we eat a special red bean soup to make bad ghosts disappear. The soup is a red color, which ghosts hate!

Korean Food

Today, I am going to introduce Korean traditional food. There are many foods in Korea, but I will talk about bibimbap, kimchi, and tteokbokki.
Bibimbap is a healthy food, made from vegetables, meat, and rice all mixed together. There are many kinds of bibimbap, but the Jeonju bibimbap from Jeonju is the most famous and popular style. It’s known for its many ingredients such as rice, meat, bean sprouts, and more.
Another special Korean food is kimchi, a spicy-sour food made from cabbages. It has a crunchy sort of texture. It is made by storing the spiced and salted cabbages in a clay pot where it will sit underground, becoming tastier and more nutritious with the help of bacteria.
And last but not least, is tteokbokki. Tteokbokki is made from chewy rice cakes and fish cakes, covered in a spicy sauce. It first started during the South-North Korean War, where hungry, ordinary people first ate it. Back then, it wasn’t spicy, but over time, it evolved into the delicious food we all love to eat.
All of these foods are delicious and worth trying. I hope you enjoy these Korean foods as much as I do.

Have you ever been to Korea? Korea is a beautiful country between China and Japan. Korean culture is very interesting, and it is a good and wonderful country to look at. So now, I will tell you three reasons why I think Korea is the best country to visit.
Did you ever watch K-pop on YouTube Shorts or TikTok? People from all over the world like K-pop music! For example, IVE! When European fans watch IVE’s music videos, they faint with excitement. They must love K-pop a lot!
The food of Korea tastes awesome and wonderful. Good examples are Kimchi, bulgogi, bibimbap, etc. They taste so good! On YouTube, if you search “Korean Mukbang”, you can find many videos of people eating Korean food.
To sum up, there are many elements of Korean culture. K-pop and Korean food are now world-famous. They’re a great example of our beautiful culture. I hope you experience and enjoy my recommendations.
