(No.32)Our Newly Elected Student Council Leaders

New Student Council President

Sim WooJin (Reina)

Hello everyone, I am WooJin, the president of magician school. I had many experiences until 6th grade like playing the flute and singing songs. Because I participated in many activities, I want to use this to help the school. I hope I can use these for English education. Many friends feel English is difficult, especially in vocabulary, reading and listening. So, I thought about ideas.

First, I can see that friends feel hard about memorizing words. I also feel this way, so I want to make this more fun. When I memorize words alone, I feel lonely and feel difficult, so I think it will be more fun to ask words in a group.

Second, I found a website where famous actors and actresses read books. All kinds of books are fun to read, and I could be confident after watching this. I hope from watching these contents together, we all could like English more.

Lastly, watching English content on Netflix made me become close to English. I could even watch my favorite Japanese animation in English! So if we talk to each other about these contents, we will like English more. I will keep trying my best to help my school.

New Vice Student Council President

Huh Yoo (Yoo)

Hello, everyone.

I’m Huh Yoo, the vice president of the Kyonggi Elementary School. It’s very nice to greet you through the Dream World Times.

Let me introduce three things as follows.

First, I am full of a lot of passion and energy. Second, I do my best once I start until I see the end. Third, I really love Kyonggi Elementary School and all of you.

To tell you one thing, I started studying English a little later than my other friends.

However, I didn’t feel embarrassed or passively attend class because I was worse than my friends. Rather, I worked harder and more faithfully in all English classes with the determination that I would work harder and catch up with as much as I did not. In particular, I tried to focus on school class and review it several times to make what I learned completely mine.

As a result, now that I am about to graduate, English has become another enjoyable language for me, rather than a mountain to overcome. Is there anyone who has the same problem as me? I am ready to share my experience with you. Also, as a student representative, I will do my best to serve as a bridge between you and the teachers with open ears and an open mind so that everyone can achieve better results. Thank you.
